RESEARCH INTEREST
My main research interest is acoustic communication in birds, especially the adaptive role of the acoustic structure and complexity of different types of vocalization. I am currently studying competition for acoustic space in various woodland bird communities. Besides, I am also interested in the utilization of passive acoustic monitoring and automatic sound recognition tools.
